Well, the year is almost over and I ordered some more CDs from posi-tone. Very nice material is on the following two CDs, which I highly recommend:

• Michael Dease: Father Figure and
• Steve Fidyk: Allied Forces

I also got the Till Brönner CD “The Good Life”, but to be honest I don’t like him singing. Didn’t convince me.

Then, interesting material from John Scofield on “Country for Old Men”, less Jazz but more Country music. Looks like he is getting a little sentimental.

And a new CD from Francis Coletta with Pius Baumgartner called “Ibla”. Original material for guitar and saxophone/clarinet. This is the kind of music where Francis Coletta’s guitar playing really shines.
